In session 15, we explored the user experience of engaging with a build of Fora Health for Bipolar Disorder over a two-week period.

In session 14, we explored how to communicate a patient-initiated offering of Fora Health in a way that resonated with patient needs and the value they perceive in our service.

13. Involving people with lived experience of mental illness in planning research on Fora Health 20 – 22 November 2024

Research focus: How to conduct research on Fora Health in line with patient perspectives

In session 13 we spoke to people with lived experience of mental illness to explore how to research Fora Health in a way that aligned with the needs of these user groups.

12. Supporting access to trustworthy AI-generated health information 2 – 8 October 2024

In session 12, we explored the value and usability of AI-powered information features for depression and colorectal cancer screening.

11. Supporting patient-initiated shared decision making 26 August – 2 September 2024

Research focus: Interest in patient-initiated use of Fora Health

Participant focus: Patients living with depression or hypertension

We found that patients are open to using a publicly available shared decision-making app and sharing it with their doctors, especially if they know it’s safe and effective. Participants were especially excited about features that helped them get new, tailored medical information for them, learn about other patients like them, track side effects, and share information about their health easily with their doctors and loved ones.

In session 10 we spoke with people living with long term health conditions, and clinicians with experience in primary care in the UK to inform features to support tracking and reviewing multiple treatments.

8. Exploring how to track ill-effects changes over time 16–18 August 2022

In session 8, we learned how patients currently track how they feel over time and gathered feedback to take into consideration when updating features that record, track and visualize ill-effects.
